Join us on a trip to Ethiopia, where you’ll work hand-in-hand with our partner communities to serve their ​most vulnerable members.

​We focus on building sustainable relationships with our partner communities. As a volunteer, you will spend several days in the same community, working directly with children, families, and community leaders.  As a part of a team of 8-12, you will have the opportunity to spend 7 to 12 days in Ethiopia, working through the established local church in the community. You will play a critical role in building the capacity of local families, equipping them with training, activities, and programs to help their communities thrive. 

You can make a difference by:
  • Helping women to better care for their families through basic health lessons
  • Supporting the community’s urgent medical needs through mobile health clinics
  • Helping teachers to deliver high-quality education through training
  • Brightening a child’s day by playing games, singing songs, or even kicking around a soccer ball
"Serving with Three Roots on the medical mission was a dream come true. Working in the developing countries was not new, but the enormity of the needs of this community was still stunning.
