Funding Your Trip

All trip funds are due before prior to departure.

If you choose to pay for your trip personally, follow the appropriate team link below and select the "Donate Now" button.

You may also choose to set-up a fundraising page to raise financial support to cover trip costs. More information on fundraising may be found below.

Fundraising Tips

1. Create your fundraising page.
Follow the appropriate link below to create your page. You will click on “Become a Fundraiser”. Your page will come branded with the Three Roots logos, but you can (and should!) personalize it. You can do this by adding your own pictures and text to the page.

2. Create a support letter.
We have provided examples in your manual, so check those out as you prepare your letter/email. There is also a template you can use to email from your fundraising page (click the email link in the upper right corner). Just like with your personal fundraising page, your support letter should be a personal appeal explaining why you want people to give to this cause.

3. Share on social media.
Facebook and Instagram are great tools for sharing about your trip! Be sure to post updates about your trip preparations and fundraising progress. However, when you post about your trip do not click the “set up a fundraiser” button on Facebook. Please send all donors to the Three Roots International fundraising page for online donations or give the mailing address for checks.
