Stand with women as they overcome the odds of extreme poverty.
Three Roots has trained local women how to make beautiful, handmade keepsake ornament dolls that they can sell to increase their household earnings. Each ornament takes 5-7 hours to make. Women are paid fair wages for this dignified work and learn lasting skills for ongoing employment. Each doll is inspired by a specific story of a woman in one of our partner communities who is overcoming life in extreme poverty. Because of your generosity, you are providing hope for the future and sustainable solutions for vulnerable communities.
I am very thankful to Three Roots for providing me such a wonderful opportunity. I did not only get a new skill which will bring me income, but also a blessing to make my children happier in decorating their bedroom through the ornament dolls. -Demoze
